The Day After A Nor'Easter

The week of October 12th, 2019 I was checking the weather every day leading up to that Saturday. It wasn't looking good. All the meteorologists declared a large nor'easter was making its way to us late week. We can always work in the rain with the proper lighting and gear sometimes the rain makes for the BEST photographs. However, this wasn't just rain, it was torrential rain, with winds up to 60mph, and it was going to be COLD, but not to worry we're equipped for any inclement weather! It's not our favorite weather to photograph in but we can do it!

As the week led on the weather was looking gloomier and gloomier. I spoke to the Bride and Groom to prepare them for if it was going to be pouring buckets on their day and reassured them that everything was going to be great no matter what! After all, it is good luck to rain on your wedding day, right?

The big day finally arrived and the rain had taken over the morning. By the time the outdoor ceremony was to commence Mother Nature stepped in and halted the rain! The ceremony went off without a hitch and it couldn't have been more perfect!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Johnsick!!
